| Elite attack 2-0. Suddin impact 0-2 hobgood heat 0-2. Looks like oxford swarm and elite attack are playin realy well. Attack scored 34 runs in 7 innings today. The real games begin thursday also for what it is worth #10 pitched perfect game today although it was only 3 innings. |

Just heard that Perry county Ga just got disqualified from Dixie World Series because some players and coaches are playing at Grand Slam World Series. Those players and coaches Knew the rules before going to PC and may have just ruined an opportunity for some non travel kids to go to a World Series. If this is true, when did we become so selfish. I don't necessarily agree with Dixie not allowing kids to play rec all star and travel but parents must make a choice and not ruin it for other kids just so that they can have the best of both worlds. Sad Day for baseball in Perry County.
Do other rec organizations have similar rules? Will this cause more kids to move to or away from rec ball? In my personal situation, We will probably not play rec anymore. |

| I disagree, if the league was playing in the GS tournament, then yes, the coaches and all should, by rule be banned. BUT, if they are invoking the second part of the rule that ALLOWS LOCAL LEAGUE to make a decision on playing , and the local league is not allowing it, then shame on the local league for being selfish. |

| Did Elite attack really get beat by the Heat - hobgood all stars? Didnt elite beat them 15-0 in pool play and orioles beat them also? Maybe they were sandbagging.... |

| Shame on any organization that doesn't allow any team to join any open tourney.....These tournaments have ZERO classifications and if you are willing to take your rec team an open world series tourney then it is flat out wrong for a rec org to not allow it. What does the rec organization have to lose?? Seems to me a good showing from a rec team would be good for the whole league. |
