The Georgia Roadrunners are creating a second team for the 2011 season. Our objective is to play over 70 games of Elite level tournament baseball including National events, and finish the season playing in a sanctioned World Series Tournament (TBD).
This 14U Roadrunner team will be Managed by Michael Barrett, former major league catcher with over 12 year of MLB experience. Michael will be joined by Kenny James, who spent 8 seasons in professional baseball after being selected by the Montreal Expos with the 87th pick in the third round in 1995.
We will be playing out of American Legion Field in Alpharetta and will conduct our winter workouts at Michael Barrett's state of the art indoor facility. See link below.

The Roadrunner baseball program has a long history of developing players to play the highest level of baseball. Peter Bergeron’s 2009 Roadrunner class received 23 college scholarships and among those players, 6 were drafted by Major League teams.
