The Hooks have partnered with the Georgia Pitching Academy (GPA) in Dallas to develop our players’ core strength, mental approach to the game. GPA’s instructors educate our players and coaches on proper mechanics, sports nutrition and injury prevention. Our partnership with GPA enables us to teach and coach these important techniques and fundamentals throughout our program.
This is a dedicated group of players that enjoys baseball and doesn’t mind working hard to get results. For the upcoming season we plan a limited fall schedule, conditioning and strength training indoors during the winter, and then a tournament schedule of 40 or so games in the spring.
Interest in this year’s program has been high so if there are enough talented players, we will field two competitive teams at each age level. To handle that growth, we are also looking to add a few great coaches who have the heart of a teacher to our GPA Hooks family.
