SHARKS TRAVEL BASEBALL
SHARKS TRAVEL BASEBALL will be holding tryouts for the upcoming 12u 2011 baseball season on Saturday, July 31, 2010. Tryouts will be held at Oregon Park in Marietta, GA under a combined two (2) team format for OP.
We are coming off a successful 11u season with a winning percentage of .600+ playing @ the Major, AAA and Open level. We were the World Series Champions for Open Baseball. We intend to continue playing at the highest level of competition available to us through organizations such as USSSA, Triple Crown, Grandslam, Open Baseball and others.
Our program has a proven track record, Winning District, State and now World Series Titles. Our program has developed numerous players currently playing in ECB and 643 systems. We are looking to continue developing fundamentally sound ball players that will be able to compete at the next level. Our experienced staff focuses on the following areas of development:
- Rotational Hitting
- Pitching Development
- Core Baseball Fundamentals
- Baseball Acumen
- Character Building
- Teamwork
SHARKS TRAVEL BASEBALL provides on-field instruction through proven structured practice techniques, individual player development plans, individual players video training, outside instructional pitching and batting instructors. Team clinics held by local area professionals and our staff.
The SHARKS staff is composed of ex-college players and seasoned coaches who have fielded winning teams for a combined 40+ years at various levels in and out of the Cobb County area.
Our home field is Oregon Park in West Cobb. We plan to play 8-10 tournaments during the 2011 season with a season ending tournament trip, TBD.
