In order to field a team and program, we have young men from Heirway, as well as homeschoolers and other youth who attend public school and did not make their high school team, or wish to play ball in a different environment. With this model our talent fluctuates from year to year. We have experienced both feast and famine years in talent levels. Since we are independent, scheduling can be a problem for us. Many smaller private schools no longer have a baseball team due to lack of interest. Bigger private schools and public schools usually have a schedule full of conference games. We play our home games at Hunter Park, Webb Field and typically have to wait to coordinate with them after most teams have set their schedule. Maybe you are looking to fill in some games and allow your team to get some additional time or give some other players some field time.
