We're realatively new to the travel ball scene, so I have a question. I had a call from a coach In Florida to come tryout for his team. We live in Atlanta Ga., is this typical or unusual. I made a post about his size a few weeks ago looking for a team. I guessing this is how he found out about us.

I'd imagine the coach wants him on his roster for when he plays 'up here'. (PG, UTrip, TC tourneys). It's not uncommon (mostly at older ages) for teams to have players on their rosters from different states to play with them at regionals or the bigger tourneys.
