Posted - 07/03/2017 : 11:05:51 My son has sworn by Easton XL3s for years......loves the end loaded and non-composite. What bat should we consider for a BBCOR? Is the Z-Core XL the equivalent? Would love to take advantage of the sales going on now to have the bat on hand when he's ready.......
Thanks! |

Given that the XL line is end-loaded and your son is moving to BBCOR (I assume from -5), something more balanced might be a better alternative. The Z-Core Speed is a balanced AL bat that makes a great 1st BBCOR bat. The Rawlings Velo is another very good first BBCOR bat. |
