2 outs. Runners on 2nd/3rd. Swinging strike in the dirt, catcher blocks it up back into the base line towards first. Hitter delays and realizes he can run, so he takes off. Carrys the bat briefly and drops/slings the bat which knocks the ball 12 inches from the catcher to 5 feet behind the catcher allowing the base runner to reach 1B safely.

Is that interference?

Did he kick it? OR did the the bat hit it?

Not an umpire, but I believe it is interference only if the umpire deems it to have been intentional. If it was unintentional, play on.
