Posted - 10/15/2012 : 12:31:04 2 outs. Runners on 2nd/3rd. Swinging strike in the dirt, catcher blocks it up back into the base line towards first. Hitter delays and realizes he can run, so he takes off. Carrys the bat briefly and drops/slings the bat which knocks the ball 12 inches from the catcher to 5 feet behind the catcher allowing the base runner to reach 1B safely.
Is that interference? |
