Watching the Braves game last night (I was at the game), in the 9th inning, when it seemed like Kimbrel kept throwing over to pick off Blanco, it appeared from where I was sitting he got him a couple times. Of course I did not get TV replay but my question is, after about the 3rd or 4th throw over Freeman got visibly upset and looked to have made a face/maybe let out an expletive , my question is, when a player does something like that, are you more likely to go a different way on the next call? Either way. Like maybe a close play would have gone to Braves, but you call towards Giants as a makeup for Freeman's act, or do you still call what you see? |

When I first started out, I have to admit it did come into play on some ocassions. They were few and far between, and all it took was letting my emotions get the best of me one time were it was obvious what I did, and the crapstorm ensued. Self inflicted wounds are horrible and you learn quick.
Call them like you see them and you will sleep well at night. |
