Congratulations to the following players from the Mid Atlantic Region that have advanced to the 2013 USA Baseball 15U Final Trials Team.
Having this many players from the Mid Atlantic Region is pretty amazing and shows the talent pool of the players in our region.

Tucker Bradley, LHP, Chickamauga, Ga
Morgan Copeland, C, Loganville, Ga
Jonathan Gettys, LHP, Gainesville, Ga
Shannon Glover, C, Columbia, S.C.
Garrett Gooden, RHP, Decatur, Ga.
Rian Haire, LHP, Hudson, N.C.
William Holland, IF, Lawrenceville, Ga.

Alternates
Justin Ammons, OF, Cordova, Tenn
Akil Baddoo, OF, Conyers, Ga.
Mason McWhorter, LHP, Cumming, Ga.
Josh Sims, OF, Covington, Ga.

How many of these players were All Americans at 10, 11 or 12? 1, maybe 2 ??? Pretty sure, the majority of these guys were playing on a AA or AAA team at those times. Same as the 1st round MLB picks from Georgia for the last 2 years. Buxton, Sims and Olson in 2012 and Frazier and Meadows in 2013. All were good players in their younger (10s, 11s, 12s and 13s) years on AA and AAA teams, certainly not reconized and labeled as the best in the country. I have watched some of these 15U players above grow both mentally and physically over the last couple of years and I am very proud of you all. Good Luck to each of you at the Final Trials.

I am extremely proud of my four players who are on the above list. I wish you Georgia Select guys the best!
