Join Our Team at the National Athletic Union!

The National Athletic Union is a multi sport organization that facilitates youth sporting events. We are looking for a Zone Coordinator to help provide leadership and direction to our baseball/softball program.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

•The Zone Coordinator will provide support to Area Coordinators that will result in actively recruiting and securing teams/programs to participate in baseball/softball events/tournaments run by NAU.

•The Zone Coordinator will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to Area Coordinators and Tournament Coordinators.

•The Zone Coordinator will cultivate positive and productive relationships with teams and programs and be asked to interact directly with teams, coaches, fans, and officials during tournaments and events, and act as a point of contact for Area Coordinators.

•The Zone Coordinator is responsible for overseeing field and/or site set-up, take down, team registration, field supervision, scoring, and other tournament and event roles by the Area Coordinators and Tournament Coordinators.

•Required Work Experience/Education:
Minimum

No experience needed, but we are looking for someone who is outgoing, friendly, has knowledge/understanding of the sports the NAU promotes, & can manage others.

High school or Associate Degree (or someone working towards a degree)

•Preferred
1-3 years of marketing/sales experience at the youth, collegiate or professional level
Bachelor's Degree

Skills Needed:
•Must be a motivated, goal driven, self-starter
•Enjoy working as a team
•Passion for youth sports
•Must be able to connect with people
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Good to advanced computer skills
•Sense of humor and a genuine love of life

This is a sales/promotion/marketing related position and we are actively seeking candidates with sales experience and connections in the baseball/softball world in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and across the southeast. Compensation is very competitive based on the number of teams per event.
