This summer’s East Cobb Academic Showcase will be held June 26 and June 27 at the East Cobb Baseball Complex at 4617 Lee Waters Rd, Marietta, GA 30066. 2020, 2021 and 2022 graduates with a 3.0 GPA or better are invited to attend the event.
This year, the Showcase will be just before Perfect Game World Wood Bat 17U starts so that both players and college coaches, who are already planning on coming into Atlanta, can attend both the Showcase and WWBA 17U. The Showcase, which is very inexpensive compared to other Showcases, sells out almost every summer. Last June over 125 players from all over the country and the Far East attended. You need to send your entry in now to ensure you have a spot.
So far Davidson, Mercer, Kennesaw State, North Carolina Central, Harding, Centre, Coast Guard, Sewanee, Rhodes, Emory, Maryville, Piedmont, Covenant, Berry, Millsaps, LaGrange, Oglethorpe and Delta State have accepted our invitation to attend. Several more schools will accept as the Showcase gets closer and schools make their recruiting scheduling plans. Mercer Head Coach Craig Gibson on the Showcase “I would highly recommend any outstanding student/athletes to attend the East Cobb Academic Showcase.
