Some amazing 10u baseball played at this weekend's PG! In the end, not too many surprises.
Luck be on the side of the Gamers as they were pushed to the max in two games that could of easily of gone the other way. One in which it took a last inning 3 run HR vs Buford just to make it to bracket. The other vs HF in extras. In the end, Gamers again proved why they're the best 10u team in the SE and can compete on the National level!
Tough draws for Buford going 0-2 in pool (vs gamers & Exposure)and Titans Blue (vs Head First). After the argument of would of, could of, should of, the best 8 made it to championship bracket.
Tournament wrap up. Best 8 finishers based on how PG ranks...record followed by RA:
1. Gamers 5-0. Champs
2. Ga Cards 4-1 Runner ups
3. Titans Orange 3-1, Semi's. (Total runs allowed
4. Gainesville 3-1, Semi's. (Total runs allowed 20)
5. South Forsyth Giants 2-1, (Total runs allowed 22)
6. Exposure 2-1, (Total runs allowed 23)
7. Head First 2-1, (Total runs allowed 24)
8. Raiders 1-2, (Total runs allowed 26)
9. Titans Blue 2-1, (the only other team to win 2 games of the 23 teams entered)
