Bat review portion of the forum is dead...figured I'd post it here so there'd be more to talk about than the "Top 10" lists...

My son is transitioning into a 30/20 so we are in the market for a new stick. His primary bat the last 15 months or so has been an Easton S1. Between weekly hitting lessons, practices and tournaments the bat has in the area of 10k swings, yes....10k, though probably close to half that would be tee work/soft toss. The bat still swings well but I'm sure it's well past it's prime. (These weeks and tournaments tend to bleed together so my fault letting the bat go that long)

We are currently looking at a Marucci Elite, he was able to get his hands on one this morning and really likes the feel of it. I was not super impressed by the S1, it wasn't hot out of the wrapper and never seemed to get hot, for $300 it didn't outperform lesser bats on the team in my opinion.

He's a huge fan of balanced bats, as he has never felt comfortable swinging anything end loaded or the like. So the question I have is what do your boys swing? How has the durability been for him? Where and what price point did you get it at?

Thanks guys!
