Coaches,
I will once again be setting up the "Sluggers and Aces" travel league. This year we are going with a little different format. We will be playing league games one weekend a month in March, April, and May. We will play a round robin format and will keep standings from each league weekend. We will use these standing to seed a league tournament that will be 3 game minimum, pool play to single elimination in June.
Weekend 1: March 22nd Hosted by South Forsyth Giants
Weekend 2: April 20th Hosted by Acworth Warriors
Weekend 3: May 18th Hosted by Acworth Warriors or TBD
League Championship Tournament: June 13th-15th
The league weekends will be free of charge, all we will ask teams to pay for is the umpires for their games. There will be no gate fees or entry fees. The league championship tournament will be $300 per team. We will ask for $150 up front from each team that wants to participate in the league and when the team signs up and plays in the league championship tournament the $150 will be applied to the tournament fee. These games will be used as a good chance to develop your secondary pitchers, get more at bats, test out lineups, or just to play games without having to be at the ball park all weekend.
