I have never observed an organization so geared towards making money. I am speaking of the tournament going on this week at PG. Why schedule one game a day for three days straight in pool play. Then a 4th day for only those teams that finish first in their pool. All others teams may come an additional day for a game that means nothing. The costs $10 a day to get in and $5 a day parking. If you are on the South side the fuel costs are crazy! Another question, how in the world do they decide on what teams to place in what pool. Get in a weak pool and you are guaranteed to move on. Some pools have several good teams while others appear weak to me. I cannot understand why one would want to enter such a tournament. Triple Crown appear to be better run in my opinion. Maybe some of you smart people can help me out.
