The Smyrna Slammers are currently playing as a 14U team. Next season (2020-2021), we are transitioning to 16U. We are finalizing our roster for the upcoming Fall/Spring season. This Slammers team has played at the highest level for a number of years and will continue to do so. The roster is filled with extremely talented players at all positions.
We are looking to hire a coach for next season. As the coach of this team, the primary responsibilities will be player development, sound communication with the players, establishing goals/expectations for each player, and motivating them to achieve continued success. The coach will not be responsible for any administrative duties.
This would be a full-time coaching position, but we would also consider hiring a coach that only runs practices. All of our practices are at Chuck Camp Park in Smyrna.
