I keep seeing teams advertising paid coaches all over the place and it must be the new trend of attracting kids. I know of 2 travel teams last season that had "paid coaches" and they played at a single A level. Do you really want to pay 1500 a season and play at a rec ball level. Travel teams are supposed to be a step above and there is a new team being formed everyday by "Paid coaches" that are really dads. I am not saying every team is that way but it is definitely a trend. Be careful who you sign up with. I made a huge mistake last year.
