I am in the process of buying a new drop 8 bat for my son. I know there are a lot of kids swinging drop 8 bats already. I was curious what size most kids were swinging. My son is 5'10" and I was looking at a 32" model. We tried out the Easton XL1 and it looked like a telephone pole in his hands (the barrel is crazy on that bat). It did not appear to have any effect on his bat speed.

Anyway, I was just curious what other kids were swinging to get an idea.

Thanks!
