Posted - 06/03/2010 : 09:05:02 Years ago my son left his catachers mitt in the rain overnight. It weighed about 5lbs in the morning. I just left it out on our deck in direct sun the next day & it dried out quickly. Although he's out grown the mitt its still usable today. |

Posted - 06/03/2010 : 06:43:52 I heard about this but never had a reason to try it. One of my high school players had the same thing happen and he said his grandfather suggested this to him. Place the glove in a bucket of rock salt. From my understanding the rock salt will suck the moisture out of the leather. |

Posted - 06/02/2010 : 22:09:03 one way I have done it in the past is to take the drying rack that comes in the dryer and place the glove on it and fire up the dryer. Once you have the water out of it oil it up good. |
