Has anyone ever taken a team up to Cooperstown to play at Doubleday field and if so how do you coordinate playing there? When I was there 3 years ago a game was being played on Doubleday field and I asked a fan who the teams were and if it was a tournament. Answer was they just called ahead, said they'd be in town and someone scheduled games for them (my bad for not asking who to call).

I've been there many times but never played there. Doubleday Field is actually owned by the Village of Cooperstown who accepts applications on a first come first served basis. You can schedule games by calling the village clerk at: 607-547-2411. I believe the cost is $500 for a game.
