I have had so much fun with the older son, I was thinking about starting a team in alpharetta south forsyth area. I am on the board at Hopewell, coach a 10u team out of Midway Community Church and have an 8u son that plays out of the new field at Midway Park, so I can probably help you out. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions @ andrewgyoung@hotmail.com.

drbaseball -

Reach out to the local parks to find out what their manager interview process is. My son used to play in Alpharetta and Wills Park, Ocee, Hopewell will start interviewing manager candidates pretty soon. However, I've found most of the area parks sem to start travel teams @ 9U.

Reach out to the local parks to see whats needed to toss your name in the hat!

Good luck to ya! Always good to have baseball guys teaching the kids so they can start off with solid fundamentals.
