Dear Valued Coaches,
USTBA hopes you; your players and their families are well and would like to apologize for the lack of communications in the past couple of months. I would also like to thank you in advance for your understanding and your continued support as USTBA is undergoing restructuring after the unfortunate incident which occurred with a previous associate of the organization and the confusion it created.
Due to the economic hardship this associate created to both the organization and to me personally, I was forced to pursue a full time career in October 2009 which includes traveling across the Southeast working long work weeks limiting my time to personally communicate effectively and promptly with our valued members.
In order to better serve our members and to improve our communications, I would like to announce the appointment of Barbara Hall as Tournament Coordinator for the state of Georgia. Barbara will be working directly with me concerning tournaments and greatly assist in better serving our members.
Many of you might remember Barbara and her unparalleled support and service of USTBA with teams and families in the 2009 Spring Nationals at East Cobb and the State tournament in Dalton. Barbara has a thorough understanding of the vision of USTBA and is committed, along with myself, in continuing to organize the best travel baseball tournaments in Georgia. Barbara will be a valued asset to the organization and help get USTBA back to our positive and excellent reputation you have come to expect.
Coaches questions; comments and concerns, communications with coaches, players and families, tournament announcements, team registration, listing of participating teams in events, schedule releases and results on our website will be in part some of her responsibilities. Although I will be extremely involved Barbara will be the initial and main contact person for information concering Georgia USTBA.
I am confident you will find the combination of Barbara and I to be a positive experience. As always, I, along with Barbara will be in attendance at all USTBA events providing exhilarating, organized and superior tournaments.
