Posted - 03/13/2010 : 15:09:53 The big showcase organization is Perfect Game (perfectgame.org). They offer individual showcases as well as highly scouted tournaments that teams can enter. These are listed as WWBA (World Wood Bat Association). There are others out there, but Perfect Game is the big one. Past Time Tournaments offers tournaments that are scouted, I believe USA baseball does stuff as well.
Then you can go to individual college web site to see camps that they are putting on. Sometimes they host scouted tournaments as well. We are going to one at Kennesaw State, Auburn and University of South Carolina this year. These will all be tournaments that should have some scouts there. Young Harris College puts on a highly scouted showcase 2x a year as well.
Hope this helps. |

Posted - 03/13/2010 : 12:52:00 Most colleges have camp info on their websites. You can go as a team to some or individuals to most. Many use the term "Prospect" camps too.
I would like to hear back from folks that have been to some of these showcases to hear which were the best and how the players liked them. |
