Hello baseball fans...this is my first post on what looks to be a great forum. I hope to contribute some worthwhile discussion.

My name is Rich Schnippel and I am the director of sales at American Legends Park located in Sandusky, Ohio. We are currently building a World Class facility in Northern Ohio that hosts week long tournaments for 9U / 10U / 11U & 12U travel baseball teams across the country and internationally. Our inaugural season begins in the spring of 2011...so don't delay sign up now!

American Legends Park wil feature MLB designed and built fields and a true Championship Stadium. Our weeklong tournaments have a 7 game guarantee (weather permitting) and are all inclusive providing room and board for 6 nights.

Our park is situated in one of Americas Top Tourist Destanations in the country. Directly across the street from American Legends is Kalahari, the nations largest indoor water park and just minutes down the road is Cedar Point, not only was it voted the #1 amusement park for the past 11 years but it is also considered the Roller Coaster Capital of the World. Every player and coach will receive a weeklong pass to BOTH! There are over 60 family friendly attractions located right in the Sandusky area.

Amenities at American Legends Park include:
Player Village w/24 Hour Security
On-Site Players Clubhouses w/Private Coaches Rooms
Downtown Main Street Retail (food, arcade and much, much more)
Great Meals!

American Legends Park has signed up to be one of the sponsors of this site. We thank them for helping support us and encourage teams to check them out.

We appreciate the positive feedback and while postponing our inaugural season to 2011 was a difficult decision to make, it was absolutely the best thing we could do for both our customers and our company. We know we have one chance to make a first impression and we want to open with our best foot forward. The weather delays we've experienced in northern Ohio have simply put us behind schedule and will not allow for us to open this spring. I can guarantee that we will have an unbelievable product to showcase in the spring of 2011 though!!

SSBUCKEYE: Our cost is $695 per person (minimum of 11 players and 2 coaches and a maximimum of 16 total). We are getting ready to introduce an Early Bird Special in the next week or two that will have our biggest savings available.

We are also introducing a few programs that you will want to watch for...our Gold Ticket Tournament Voucher Program. We are selecting specific tournaments around the country where the winners of the 8U/9U/10U & 11U age groups will win $2500 vouchers that can be used at the park in 2011...this is an unbelievable savings you won't see at other parks...it also helps bring some extremely competitive teams to American Legends. If you know of a tournament you would like to see considered for this program, please contact me and let me know about it...I can be reached at 440-471-0962.

Another great program we're offering (very similar in design) is our Gold Ticket League Champion Voucher Program. We're in the process of selecting youth travel baseball leagues from across the country that we will be offering $2500 vouchers to their league champions in their 8U/9U/10U & 11U age groups. Again, this brings quality teams that everyone will want to play to American Legend Park. If your league would be interested in being considered for this program...call me!

Both of these programs are a great way for American Legends to reward tournaments and leagues with $10,000 worth of prizes for their winners and champions!

We're also working very hard to bring international teams to American Legends...I can't go into a lot of detail because things aren't finalized yet, but we're looking at teams across both the Pacific and the Atlantic...this is a great opportunity for teams from the US to come and play talent from around the globe!

As far as Cedar Point is concerned...I won't kid you...the roller coasters are monsterous...intimidating to say the least. The good news is that with 17 to choose from there's more than enough for every caliber of daredevil! This year they're introducing "Shoot the Rapids" it's the worlds first roller coaster / water ride! If roller coasters aren't your thing they have rides of every kind to choose from...but seriously, if you're not familiar with Cedar Point check them out on line, you won't believe how tall they are, you almost think the images are Photoshop'ed!

Ha! Some of those suckers are really, really tall!

I have NEVER gotten onto a roller coaster EVER again after going on one at Cedar Point many moons ago. Do not ride them if winds are above 40 mph like I did. Beyond scary, because the whole structure sways 4-6 feet side-to-side. I'll stick to bumper cars thank-you. I'll bet I have a nightmare tonight on this topic.

I am from Ohio. I can vouch for Cedar Point. Off the charts awesome for those who like great roller coasters! Sounds like a perfect match. What would a week stay at one of your tournaments cost? I would definitely be open to the idea, but need a range so I could share with my families.

We are very excited to come up next year as 12's. We are planning to go to Cooperstown and if the parents are game then we are coming to you also. In fact I would love to see a few area travel "all star" teams made to bring up to your facility.
