Well Rocky asked what Parks had the best hotdogs in another thread, but I thought this would be a good thread on it own.

The Northside Youth Organization or "NYO" complex has one of the best concession stands around. Great variety and reasonable prices!

Clean rest rooms as well!

Alter stole mine, Gresham Park. The food is great and the people are extremely nice.

The LaGrange Park, George Harris has a great concession now that it is contracted out. Their Grilled Chicken Sandwiches are the BOMB! Chicken Fingers, French Fries, Cheese Burgers grilled with a Dales sause marinade, cheese sticks and the list goes on. I host enough events there that I am a pretty good authority. Try it out next time you are in LaGrange playing!

Monroe has the worst men's room in the State. Nice fields, well-run tourneys, but geez with all the revenue they're bringing in to an otherwise struggling town, you'd think they'd re-invest some of the proceeds for sanitation's sake. The guys who were running the textile mill must now be running the parks

It has zero ventilation, so they pin the exit door wide open to curb the stench (still gaggs me), but then there's no privacy. I just wear fatigues and pretend I'm in the Army. However, on a more positive note, leaving the door wide open does allow the overflown water to escape more easily (the floor has no overflow drain). The comode's belch water like the under-belly of the Buford Dam. This prevents standing water from covering the floor because its more like a river, current and all. Those Army boots could come in handy, but careful where you step soldier.

Also, its the worst park for flies and bees. Besides all that, Walton County does a fine job.

My only problem is , after eating all the great food at these ballparks is trying to find a good clean toilet, Maybe we need to make that a new topic, its bad ,when you just ate a great dog then you get in a tangent tryin to get to the restroom.

If you are near East Cobb ,and if you can make it ,just go to that drug store there on the corner of Shiloh and Canton rd, I have run in there many times, and while you there you can grab a few snacks which are cheaper than at the ballpark

Papa and the Bandits cook a pretty mean goose and sometimes we are so hospitable that we cook our own goose.

Well this proves I need to make it over to East Cobb Park sometime.

I have always held strong that the best concessions is at Gresham Park. Catfish Sandwich is to die for.

All Tournament Players Park has the best Hot Dogs by far.
steerike Posted - 01/16/2010 : 12:00:04

East Cobb an all parks should go to Brandy's Hot Dogs place in Marietta and beg them to come and cook and serve her Hot dogs, Chili dogs w/slaw. If you have never been there. You are missing out on!!!! Their chili cheese dogs are absolutely the BEST in the world. And bring a rag to wipe the sweat off your forhead. I'm serious about that too. Can't eat just 2, 3 is a must!!

Not sure who has the best hotdogs. Greshem Park has the best buffalo wings and fish sandwich. ECB had good chicken fingers and fries. Best burger is still the Whopper at Burger King before going to the park.

Well overall I think the East Cobb Complex has the best food. I know it is an outside vendor - there are a lot choices from chicken fingers, turkey wraps, salads, hamburgers, and many more. Not cheap but choices are there and generally quick and good.
