Many of you seem very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about travel baseball here in Georgia. It's pretty obvious on the 11U board what everyone thinks as far as who the top teams will be this upcoming season, but what about the rest of the youner age groups (9's - 12's)? Who will be the top teams or "teams to beat" and who will be the surprises? Put it out there before the season starts and let's see who is closest to right at the end of the season!

9U- 1. Yard Dogs
2. ECB Longhorns

10U- 1. ECB Braves/Stealth Bomberz (could go either way depending on offseason roster moves)
** Have heard that last year's Team ECB players have split up among several 10u teams.

11U- 1. Bandits (too much top notch pitching and defense)
2. Could be any number of teams

12U- 1. Roadrunners
2. Guessing a team from Gwinnett will step up and take this spot

13U- 1. ECB Astros (easy pick for every age group 13u and older)

Stealth Bomberz lead the pack at 10U????????????? ...... Good team but I think people wont be surprised by them anymore but they are still in my top 3..... My top 3 has changed from my pre-season post:

1. East Cobb Braves - No one has consistantly beat this team so they have to stay at #1........BUT they will be tested early and often.....Even has some decent competition in there own backyard this year.

2. Home Plate Chilidogs (Esteban) - Homeplate has stepped it up 5 notches this year.....the roster says they should compete for multiple championships with kids that have wins over top dogs throughout the southeast but the game still has to be played on the field.

3. Stealth Bomberz - If they got Big Tommy some help then they will play on Sundays more often then not......Have to sure up the pitching staff........ was not deep but very scrappy team. Admire the coach brings his team from Albany, GA to the best tournaments in Atlanta every weekend and plays throughout the southeast ...... Real Travel Baseball

Others to watch:

1. East Cobb Rays - Has some talent with good resumes
2. GA Greys - will get a little stronger this year
3. East Cobb Outlaws - Put ECB on thier back..........must represent
4. Shiloh Titans - I think the GGBL schedule or whatever it is will hurt them in the long run

Last:

1. What happened to Team ECB 9U from last year?
2. Sandtown ...... What can I say?........You have a player that is 4X better than the "BEST" player at the age group.....hope he can carry the load.

I agree with the Ga. Roadrunners choice. My grandson played them several times this fall and they are legit if they can hold this talented group together.

At 10U I expect the Stealth Bomberz to lead the pack. They have added a couple of players, from what I understand,to an already top 5 tea.

I can tell you in the 12's for sure the GA Roadrunners and Southern Jaguars are top of the list. Beyond that, there is alot of uncertianty. I wonder who at ECB will step up??Astros? Seminoles? Braves? Who knows. Also heard Mill Creek, a very good team at 11u is changing names and parks, but not sure if the roster stays in tact. I also look for Kennesaw Xtreme to be back after a so-so year last year, and as always there will be a suprise group of teams emerge after the first 2 or 3 tourneys.
