I really like this discussion board. Many good ideas are exchanged and the tone is quite civil.
Do any of y'all participate in other similar discussion boards that you would recommend? Am always looking to gain more baseball knowledge.

This post has asked for recommendations of other forums and there are a couple of others that have not been moderated with a link to another site. Except for some specific posts in national forums, I stopped posting links to other sites that have forums because of some issues that have happened in the past. Players do read these posts and some actually post. This is the reason that I do not mind the time it takes to moderate the forum to keep it relatively civil. There were a couple of cases that I received emails from parents where they told me that they let there child read this forum but did not let them know about others because of some of the comments. On two occasions a player from this forum used a posted link to go to another forum. In one case there were some derogatory comments about the player and in another case comments about his coach. Another forum that had several posted links here had very inappropriate advertising for anyone under age. And after some complaints I removed those links. So I hope all of you understand the reasoning behind not posting links and I think it is in the best interest of our baseball community.
