Hello Everyone,

What is your thought of short arm vs long arm pitching?

If by short arm pitching you mean a cocked arm releasing from the shoulder plane, then no. Maybe OK if that is very early and you proper mechanics will be addressed and taught towards repeatability. Not sure how old you're talking. I think my son may have started with more of a cocked arm and fired the ball towards the plate but he started pitching at 11u some and bacame a primary at 14U.

What do you mean your all for it? If long arm is a norm, would you change to short arm? Why?
