Posted - 08/19/2009 : 18:08:12 Speedkills must be watching something else. Been to Ripken, they are still trying to some of the best teams to attend their tournament. USSSA State tournament are better than that is some states, AAU National, AABC WS, Elite 32 etc. Great that Cal was able to use his pro connections to help get it televised, it will only bring more visibility to the other WS held and visibiity to the dominate national teams. |

Posted - 08/18/2009 : 11:55:10 Last year in Memphis all 8 of the "member" organizations for NYBC were talking about how to get their finals on TV to combat ESPN and Little League. MLB-TV, MLB.com and Fox Sports were all involved in part of the discussion. I would have hoped that evan a CSS would pick up some game, if someone could find sponsors... |
