D-BAT is looking for an individual or group that is interested in expanding and running their own sports performance business within our brick and mortar locations across Atlanta. OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW:
Position: Sports Performance Training Owner/Director Opportunity: Provide performance training programs to youth, student athletes, and teams. Duties also include involvement in the community, customer service, daily operations, and quality assurance. This opportunity is being made available to someone to expand their current sports performance business by utilizing the D-BAT facilities around Atlanta. Ideal candidate or business will be a group that is currently operating and is looking for a means to expand and scale their current sports performance business through the D-BAT brick and mortar locations throughout Atlanta. Candidates will be generating their own leads while potentially utilizing a portion of the D-BAT client base.
Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: Bachelors Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or 5 years applicable related experience. Business plan will need to be presented demonstrating a clear plan.
Experience Required: Teaching experience preferred. Candidates with experience working in pediatric athletic development particularly with K-12 student athletes. Experience in participation with competitive youth leagues, high school or college athletics is a plus. Candidates must be physically able to execute the activities that makeup the sports performance curriculum. Furthermore, the ideal candidate to have an existing team with the proper capital to expand. 1. Instruct Sports Performance and Speed/Agility Protocol: Train youth, student athletes, and teams in a specific sports performance and speed/agility program methodology Plans, prepares, and delivers instruction based on a specific curriculum that engages clients in their athletic growth. Educate clients on sports performance training Continually further knowledge of sports performance training methodology Properly assess each athlete against the documented sports performance training model and appropriately scale activities to athletes physical capabilities. Utilize effective cues and techniques to improve athletes performance Ensures athletic growth and achievement in accordance with grade level.
2. Community Involvement Attend local sporting events Build relationships with schools and athletic organizations Offer expertise at local seminars and educational opportunities
3. Build Customer Service Meet with athletes and/or parents to give progress updates Record client daily training results Track client sport schedules and successes Educate clients on additional aspects of athletic performance
4. Daily Operations Maintain facility and equipment Assist with scheduling and center flow
