When entering a tournament do you check out.

( Game times ) some tournaments are ( 1 hour ) to ( 1:45 ) for 9's and 10's

( Run rule ) most coach pitch games are mathematical and some
USSSA (15) after 3 innings and (8) after (4)
BPA. (12) after 3 innings and 10 after (4)
If a team can only score (7) per inning a run rule is out of place

If your playing 9 & 10 under are the base paths 65' ?
Some tournaments are playing 60' base paths for 9's &"10's
How could you throw out runners.
It's taking a step backwards in 9's & 10's

Make sure you check out these three main rules before you enter a tournament
Or check out the current tournament you are entered into now.

Umpires aren't supposed to wear a watch.

Teams that lollygag around is why. There are some that start with the first warm up pitch, or the first pitch, but the vast majority start the clock at the conclusion of the plate meeting. Have your players ready.

Coaches need to check on the time limits for the tournaments
Seeing 9-u & 10-u playing (1:10 ) time limits
And base paths at 60' ?
Must have to keep foot on base until ball passes home plate ?
If not everybody's running wild on the bases with no chance to throw out a runner ?
(1:10) time limit gets 3-4 innings played per game. ( giving up 2-3 innings )
Turbo tournament

Good points watching, but I might add to also check the pitching limits imposed as it changes too........typically, each organization will be consistent tourney to tourney. Being in AA/AAA class, we play alot of USSSA and Grandslam events......I know a lot of folks dont play USSSA but we like them(Mostly) and we know what to expect; even if its a few thing we dont like

It seems to get even more confusing when you are at ages 13-14 as bat rules & base distances can really be different.....looking forward to next years confusion
