Looking for a glove for my infielder. I don't want to spend $250 on the Wilson A2000. Any good gloves out there for $100 or less?
Also, any recommendation where to buy besides Dick's or Better Baseball?

My son lives, eats and breaths baseball....BUT.....his gloves stink to high heaven when the season is over. I have tried freezing them, fabreezing them...it's like something died in there.

Thats what I'm talking about!! Priorities! My kid has no problem getting last years bat either! But Oakleys? Nope! Not gonna happen...........too many cool lookin shades for less than that kind of $$ See Rivbos on Ebay
I do agree that his infielders glove is wearing out(very soft now) faster than one twice as much might....but hey, its green and right now he LOVES it. He plays great with it when he does play third or pitches.
He finally got his first base mitt this year and it was about $65 at Sports Authority. They also have a decent selection of gloves with a wide price range. Don't be afraid to check them out as well. |

Yes it was the 643 Wilson, my kid really liked it, odd that it is black and gray but hey whatever! |

A lot depends on your son's age and level as well.
How old is your son?
Gloves that used to last a few seasons seem to only last about year now but cost about twice as much. Sure they break in quicker but they just don't have the life span they did back in the day.

This is his second season with it, and it's still good as new. Great glove. If your looking for something inexpensive , shop amazon or eBay. I've spent tons of money of cheap gloves and it's like every year I need a new one. |

As others have stated, online retailers or eBay could be the way to go. Find a good fitting glove for him at Dicks or Better Baseball, but then shop/buy online. Or, check the classifieds here. |

I always thought with price of these bats people are buying better to have a better glove than bat since you use it more during a game. A good glove will last a long long time really until you lose it. |

Maybe I am a cheap-o but I always start at Play-it-again sports. Got my son a NICE catcher's mitt and I didn't have to wait for them to break it in! |

Mizuno has different levels of gloves and a couple of them are around $100 & less. Before the spring season last year I bought my son (12 yo) an MVP level glove. They rate the MVP for high school players and I've found the quality of the leather and the workmanship of the glove to be very good. It was easy to break in and he's now played a spring travel seaso, fall travel season and a middle school season with the glove & it's holding up very well. Based on what I see, I believe the glove will get my son through high school. |

I always use baseballsavings.com or baseballexpress.com for guys starting out and need more economical gloves. A lot of times they will have something on sale, or last years model where you can get a great discount for a quality product. |
