Your local high school player. Call the coach and ask which player he would recommend or might be interested. Whole lot cheaper, same instruction.
For a very young hitter that is just starting out, this might work if you're only wanting the very basics. But there is a world of difference between a hitting instructor with years of experience vs a high school kid who is still learning how to hit himself and can only regurgitate what he's heard to this point. I wouldn't take my car to the local high school for the top kid in shop class to diagnose and fix a mechanical problem on their own and certainly wouldn't take my son/daughter to a high school kid to learn how to hit. I'll pay the little extra for a quality hitting instructor to make sure to get it right the 1st time. |

Posted - 02/18/2016 : 14:54:10 Julius thames is very good with kids and Brandon boggs is really great with more advanced player. Boggs is just finished playing and was taught by some of the best in mlb when he played for the Rangers. Love his approach of what he teaches. Both use the Batter Barn off 92 for lessons kinda near roswell high school. |

Depends on where in N. Fulton you are......we use Russ Dickerson at East Cobb Baseball Academy. He's fantastic. (we had tried 3 others in the past...none can hold a candle to him). But that might not be convenient for you if you're in, say, Johns Creek.......

Posted - 02/17/2016 : 16:31:29 Either Jarrett Northcutt or Matt Cerone at Auterson Baseball. They work out of a facility off exit 12 (McFarland Rd) off Ga 400. My son has worked with Jarrett for several years. He relates to kids well, is super positive, and gets excellent results. Matt is also excellent. Both of them also coach travel teams (Dunn Right Dawgs and Georgia Jackets) |
