It is now official. Bandits voted the #1 10 under baseball team in the entire nation by what many consider to be the premier travel ball association in America. This goes hand in hand with the #1 power rating earned through the USSSA points system. What a super year of baseball this has been that will always be remembered by those of us who shared in every game with this great team.

Congratulations little guys. You have worked super hard to achieve this awesome honor and Papa promises you that this is something that will be with you forever and that you will be sharing with your grandchildren when you get Papa's age.

I too find it crazy that no other team is listed in the TBS rankings. Some of the teams ranked very high in the TBS poll is the same teams that 643, Scorpions, and EC Tigers just beat at Cooperstown, NY.

Interesting that TBS does not list any other 10U GA teams in their Final Regular Season Rankings. The Bandits are #1 and all other top 25 and Honorable Mention teams are from other states.

The Sandtown Red Sox are ranked #2 in the nation behind the Bandits. You can view the rankings at www.usssa.com and click on rankings, select 10yr major and make sure you click on power rating then click submit. It is ashame that these two teams never got a chance to meet this year, the times they were entered in the same tournament they never met up(SUPER NIT) and the last time in Tennesse it was rained out. When this game does take place It will be one for all to see. Georgia has been well represented this year with the parity and competion level that all Georgia teams brought to the table, unlike other states most teams from Georgia was built from the bottom up with their core group of players and just added bits and pieces on the way, I can imagine if Georgia comprised a team of All Stars from various teams, I think these other states would not stand a chance against us. This is a testament of all the hard work and time we put into our kids. So to all the Georgia coaches out there, good job, keep up the good work and see you next year for even a better year as 11yr olds.

Good luck to you Tony: I want you to know how much respect that we have for your team. Although we haven't have the opportunity to play you this year we have kept up with your accomplishments and know that you have a great group of kids that can really play some great baseball.

We beat some of these Miami teams so they will probably be mad and I don't feel that they like Georgia very much at the moment.

Make us all proud and I hope that you have saved your best efforts for this trip.

Good Luck.

Papa,
Congrats on the well deserved rankings. Do you have the list? Top ten? Did anyother GA teams make the list?

I wish we could have played each other, We always seemed to be in other places at the same time, We are headed to Miami Fl. and then hopefully to Puerto Rico to play in AABC World Series. Maybe Next Year?
