These little rascals never cease to amaze their Papa. They do not know the meaning of fatique, quit, or overmatched. They look like little preschoolers next to these huge 12 year olds that they are facing but the Bandits don't look up as they are too busy looking at the baseball and making hard plays look routine and routine plays look simple.

The big guys smoked a couple of balls that they we were not used to seeing and the pitching was maybe a little faster but they just kept playing small ball and it worked with 2 quality wins.

We may not win a game today and do not expect to but every game we do win will be a testament to their heart. The biggest surprise for us was that they were not intimidated in the least and that the size of the other teams did not seem to distract them at all. If you hit it at them they caught it and made the play. Makes the game appear to be a lot simpler than it really is.

The legend grows and it now being said that the Coach of the Bandits is a legendary magical leprecaun that has been granted magical powers and that he sprinkles his gold dust on each Bandit prior the game. Not really but it does seem to Papa that something magical is going on as what is happening should not be happening but trust me that it is really happening.

I will say this..This ittle team has to be the best in the state in just about ALL age groups..They play hard never give up and have one if not the best coach..Even when they were down they never stoped playing..Papa the Bandits will be more than ready for C-Town....I watched a littlee of that last game and even being in the land of the GIANTS they played to the very end...

Almost but no cigar this time. But the Bandits did hold on for a well deserved second place in their first 12 year old tournament ever. We were dissapointed to lose but glad that we lost to a quality opponent in the 12U Dacula Falcons in the championship game of the tournament.

We got what we came for, quality baseball against bigger and stronger kids. We would generally not be looking for this kind of scrap but I really believe that since we did that nothing Cooperstown throws at us will be a curve and that we should not be initimidated by anything we see. We faced what we feel like will get us ready to play our best at Cooperstown and all we can say now is that we will bring the best we have and try our best to make Georgia proud that this is our home state.

We hope and ask all of you to hope that we have saved our best baseball for the last and pray that we are able only to play the best that we can play and that will be good enough for us all.

Good luck to you Bandits and all we ask is that you do your best and know that is the only expectation that we have of you.
