The Sandy Plains Wildcats 14U team, coached by Jeff Nichols, went to Southaven, MS, this past weekend and went undefeated(6-0) and won the event with a 10-5 victory over the Louisiana Tigers in the Championship game. They will be attending the USSSA Elite 32 tournament at Disney in July!!
Congrats to this team that is made up of local players from the towns of Woodstock, Roswell, and Marietta. |

Looks like the 14 Astros have jumped in too. I am sure both of you will be glad to be playing close to home. Congratulations again for your win this past weekend, and punching that ticket to Orlando. |

Congratulations. That is a great accomplishment.
Are the Wildcats playing this weekend at the GA Super NIT at EC or are they taking the weekend off now that they have their bid?
Curious whether teams choose to play in other SUPER NIT's after they qualify.
