I'd like to start off by sayining congrats to Sandtown on the stellar weekend over in East Cobb. The RED SOX are playing great right now on both sides of the ball and that's a hard combo to face especially that wicked pitching staff. Where do u find kidz to throw like that. Reguardless of who gives this team credit 4 playing A-1 baseball on the blogs do understand like PaPa said your team is feared. If all u do is win, the competition can't deny who the team to beat is. Unfortunately bad weather has ruined alot of finishes. In closing Thank You Ga. for great 10 ten year old baseball. |

Papa got to see some of the 10U games this week and I really just want to say this. It is amazing to me that 10 year old kids have learned to play the game of baseball the way this group of kids have learned to play.
I remember how I loved the game when I was 10 and that is almost 50 years ago and I do not remember seeing 10 year olds perform the way these kids do.
It is a testament to their love of the game, their hard work, their awesome effort, and their passion for the game that provides me with the chill bumps I get from watching them play. It is also a testament to these Coaches that love these kids and give their time and their skills in order to provide them an opportunity to be better players each time out. I am amazed at how these kids have developed just since the fall tournaments.
And to thirty four, Congratulations on your hard earned victory. I know that on this post that Papa might be the only one in your eyes that gives you credit but Papa talks to a lot of people about 10 year old baseball and the entire state of Georgia knows the Sox can play. Your team is not only respected but they are feared. Yes people cringe at the thought of the athletic ability your team possesses.
The Bandits are proud of you and look forward to facing you win or lose because to claim the title "Champion" you have to beat the best and to beat the best we know that we will have to see the Sox, the Express, the Cougars, the Stixx, The Tigers, and many others. All that I will promise if that we will play as hard as our hearts will allow as we don't have the athleticism you do but we are gritty as gritty can get.
