Posted - 04/21/2009 : 08:45:03 I have watched travel a few years now and I was wondering how the 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U teams stack up to last year. I am very impressed with the 12U and 11U divisions more so than the 9U compared to last year. ECB Braves look very good, but most of the others do not. How would last years Bandits do against ECB Braves |

Posted - 04/21/2009 : 18:48:02 Sorry to always sound like Mr, Know-it-All, but I am the only poster who's son has played against both, and not many has seen both as much as I have.
The 8U Braves played up in the 9U Sub States last year, and my son had to come in to secure the save. EC 9U Braves Coach: do you recall the lefty who ended your rally? My lefty was 8 at the time, so I asked our Coach to use him to keep it fair. Pretty cool that he agreed. It was a tip of the cap to the fine effort the EC Braves had made.
My son has run his legs off chasing Bandit bunts and 2 of the unnamed Bandits bombs in places like Chattsworth, Dalton, Ringgold, ect..
Even pre-Chainsaw, the Bandits beat the Braves at 8U and 9U. The Braves jump ahead, then the Bandits turn on their bunt game and overtake the Braves. Final score: Braves 5 Bandits 11.
