In these tough economic times, everyone is trying to save their teams and families a little money. A great way to do so is to join your respective age level NWBA league for game play. The 12U group currently has 15 teams, and is looking to grow to 20. We currently plan on trying to split into AAA and AA divisions while still being cognizant of travel between parks. Teams typically choose home v. home format v. other league teams, but some teams enjoy just doing Doubleheaders versus other teams. It only costs $185 which gets you league play, membership into our coaches org for ranking and more perks. The only other cost is too at home games pay for umpires and baseballs. Lastly, if by chance you don't have a home park we can work out double headers away at the other parks.

If you are at all interested or have questions please contact the age level coordinator:

As of today we only have AAA and AA level teams that have shown interest. I would love to have a Major level division as well, but it seems the interest has not come from those teams. I believe the draw to this type of format is having games on the weekdays, and weekends when no tournament is being played. I know you can schedule games openly against others, but in this case you at least have a league coordinator, some penalties for pulling out of games at the last minute, and someone wins the league. If we did have a Major class team become interested we would put them in the AAA division.

Good concept and could also be used in conjunction with team travel plans I would think for realtime games vs some regular practice slots. Question - are you thinking of only subdividing into AA and AAA, excluding Major? Curious how that would work for a classified Major team to be involved for reasons mentioned above?
