I'm looking for a good pitching instructor for my son who is a LHP.
Doesn't have to be a left handed instructor but I would prefer that if possible.

I'm a new instructor to NW Georgia area. 20 years experience with youth, high school, college and off-season pro guys. Owned and operated multiple nationally ranked travel programs in Florida and Hawaii. Contact me for availability 601.543.7166 LC Smith.

If he's legit, Lief "LC" Smith will work with him. Just moved to Gwinnett County from Hawaii. Trained Jon Papelbon, pitched with Cliff Lee, instructor at all Skip Bertman's old camps, and was a former scout for the Rangers (and Cubs I believe). Etc... impressive resume and I've seen kids he worked with before and after. He's legit.

Bumping this topic back up.

Looking for a pitching trainer for my 15 yo lefty who offers full package including weight training, nutrition, motion analysis, mobility/agility, etc.

There are a number of guys who offer these comprehensive programs virtually, but I'm struggling to find one local around ATL.

Chris Cumberland helped my son (LHP) tremendously for the last 5+ years. He is now pitching in college. He still takes lessons in the off season.

I'll throw Nick Crocker's name in the ring. I would consider Nick a polisher and a very good one at that. He knows the right people when it comes time for recruiting and approaches all aspects of the game. Mental, physical and the pitching mechanics. He is with Pinnacle Prospects in Marietta and he is left handed.

Gene Ross at the Georgia Pitching Academy is a quality pitching instructor, my son has been going to him for 4 years . Great people at GPA.

Here are three pitching instructors that my LHP son had success with:

Matt Hightower (mentioned above)
Chris Cumberland (last I heard he was at the Allatoona Sports Academy)
Gene Ross (Georgia Pitching Academy)

Each of these guys helped my son in some significant way. Good luck.
