Like many of the age groups each year, there is typically many changes in rosters and teams. While some view this as "Problems", it is probably healthy for the overall "System".

What are this year's Teams?

East Cobb
- Astros
- Braves
- Lightning
- Longhorns
- Shamrocks (New - Tigers and Greysocks)
- Thunder
- Trojans
- Yankees (New - Some Titans)
- Team names not being used this year (Titans, Tigers and Rockies)

Kennesaw
- Cobras
- Mustangs

Sandy Plains
- Prowlers
- Wildcats

Shaw Park
- Bullets (New)
- Warriors (Relocated)

Hobgood
- Team Wilson
- Knights

Oregon Park
- Team 1 (Broncos ?)
- Team 2 (?)

Mt Paran
- Knights

Marietta
- Smashers (New)

Acworth
- Warriors (Relocated - last year's Acworth Wolfpack)

Does this look accurate?

Didn't look like you ever got an answer to the Batters Up part of your question... contact Batters Up, but they were intending on running a 12u travel team out of Shaw Park off Canton Rd due to the lack of hassles there over practice and game slot availabilities... (they just had a tryout session this past sunday but I doubt they finalized anything yet) (I think they are also doing 13 & 14u teams there)

Two additions to the list:
Powder Springs Titans (new team)
West Georgia Jackets (returning)

Thanks for the help guys. I was just curious about them.

ATPP does not have a team that plays out of the facility. We have several teams that practice and 6-4-3's home facility is Perry Parham park. The 12 year old team will be practicing at the ATPP on Sunday nights 4-7. Hope this helps.

Do not forget the Mill Creek Hawks from Gwinnett.

6-4-3 DP Academy Cougars will be practicing out of ATPP this fall. They will be practicing out of Perry Parham, as well as, ATPP this coming Spring. The Cougars will be a tournament team and not part of a league. For more information on the 6-4-3 DP Baseball Academy, please visit www.643dp.net .

I am new to this baseball stuff. I have heard that batter up batting cages might be starting teams. Does anybody know anything about this for younger age kids 11-12. Also where is the 6-4-3 academy located. I looked on there website and could not find direction to there locations. Is this a place like batters up or is it the all tournament players park teams. Sorry for the question but really new to this travel stuff and you guys are very imformative with your post on this stuff. Is this just a league really not much info on web except for two teams websites and when hit contact it does not list there location.

I was hoping that as members replied with updates, that I would be able to update the original list. But this system doen't seem to allow me to do that.

The initial intent was to see what was happening with the Cobb based teams, but it is also nice to hear about the other surrounding clubs.

There's also 6-4-3 DP Cougars playing out of ATPP in Marietta. Coaches and core players came from Sandy Plains Prowlers. Also 2 teams out of Roswell - Hornets and Knights....but I think I may have crossed over into Fulton county with that one, and you were looking for Cobb county teams, right?
