With this new technology already proving itself in testing, live data can be used to measure fatigue, stress, motion, etc., and take the guess work out of when a pitcher is becoming vulnerable to injury. This device can also account for physical differences between players as we all know that some can simply go more than others. Very interesting with a lot of potential.

I read about that yesterday too...but as pointed out in the article elbow compression sleeves aren't allowed during a game in MLB or Little League, so guess some rules will have to be changed.

Great possibilities there! If it were adopted by Little League, Dixie, Babe Ruth, etc. then maybe high school and college, then maybe the pros would buy in.

Kinda like wearing a Wii controller. I would expect as adoption occurs, prices would come way down too. As usage goes up, so would the apps improve that interpret the data.

As the parent of a pitcher, I'd be interested.
