I am planning to coach a 13U travel team next season, and while everyone's memories are fresh, I wanted to ask: what are your favorite tournaments for that age group (with location and approximate dates)? I am looking to put together my list of 4 - 5 that I should plan our calendar around. (Note: we will likely play at AAA or lower, so no need to tell me about those great Elite/Major tournaments out there.)

I HIGHLY recommend the Triple Crown event in Omaha that is played during the College World Series. They have a divison 1 and a division 2(AA/AA teams) event. The 13 yr old age group had 41 teams in division 1 and 50 in division 2. About 20 states were represented and we were the only GA team there. It's worth it just to see the College World Series. The kids loved it.
