The ending to the Championship Game was very exciting with Nevada Wildcats beating Team Miami 2 to 1. Miami had runners on 2nd and 3rd (walk, single to right, wild pitch advanced runners) with no outs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The NV pitcher struck out the 3rd and 4th hitters for Miami, walked the 5th batter to load the bases and struck out the the 6th batter to end the game. The announcers said it was Team Miami's first loss in 136 games.

The Hobgood Storm were 6-4 and finished in the top 32. Three of thier losses came from teams landing in the top 16 and were eliminated by a team making the Semi-final.

Great job Storm!

That is interesting. The biggest surprise is Midway Heat at 92 of 98. I noticed they lost their first elimination game also, so that would be 1-7 for the week. Wonder if they did not have all their players because they seemed like a LOT stronger team than that.
