Our area has several schools with c-teams and play a 10-12 game schedule. The local high school coaches are already approaching him to try out as soon as possible. Geez! He's still in the 6th grade!
He's really excited about the attention. Is it worth pursuing to help prepare for high school ball? Will it give him an inside track for the JV/Varsity teams? |

the varsity coach will probably attend the tryouts and will have say so who makes the team but you probably won't see much of him after that the level of competition may not be as high as some travel teams depending on who shows up for the tryouts
Some feeder teams are also not affiliated with the High School - it is not in our school zoning. Guess it depends on which HS/Feeder program, but did want to highlight that not all are tied to the HS team. |

A - varsity B - JV C - feeder program
