I am looking for an advanced style camp for my son for this summer. We live in North Georgia. Any recommendations...any organizations that run a better camp than the next? My son is 7 and plays travel ball.

Good to hear about the Clemson camp. I've been thinking about having my son do it one year. I think they offer a half day camp for kids under 12. He did the Emory camp during the summer after 7u. I would not call it a serious baseball camp at all.

Clemson is a great camp, but will not take 7 yr olds. My son is going for the second time. Youngest age they will take is 12.

Coach Hall's camps are great and he does run some from Wills Park in the summer. Would be a good camp for a first timer.

My son went to the overnight camp two years, at 13 and 14. At 13, he was one of the better kids there, still had some older guys there, at 14, it was almost like a vacation for him. The day camps and overnight camps are well instructed by Georgia Tech Players coaches and coaches from surrounding universities and a few HS coaches I believe.

Worth the money and they helped my son fix a mechanical throwing error he had from third base.

Anybody have thoughts on the GT camp coach Hall has each year?

I agree with Clemson being a good camp.. My son has been the last two years and is going again this year.

Defined advanced style camp? My son loved Emory University's camp. He went there for years. But I would not call that an advanced camp. Then again, at 7, I don't think he could have handled an advanced camp :-)
