WPB Baseball	Posted - 01/23/2014 : 09:55:59 WPB is growing it's baseball program to a full 8U-18U format. Looking for qualified/ committed coaches to teach young men the game of baseball and to help guide them through their journey. We are striving to develop well rounded young men who have a passion for the game of baseball, friendship, family, academic achievement and in their community. We realize the importance of keeping a healthy balance between all of these things. It is our belief, that with continued involvement in the game of baseball, our young men will have the tools for success in all areas of their lives. We will be adding on to our existing program for 2015 season playing at a competitive level and will start up in Fall of 2014 getting ready for the next Spring/Summer. Our main goal (besides teaching them baseball and to becoming good young men), is to help your son work towards getting a scholarship to play ball beyond his high school years. We will have college committed and or college/ players/ coaches/ professionals, who not only play or played at a high level themselves, but who already know the processes of getting recruited by colleges and all that entails with the processes. For 14U and above, we have college scouts who will meet with you and your parents to work towards getting you all the information needed to getting you in the right school that is a fit for both you and the school. We also have our very own indoor facility for all season training and whenever weather does not permit us to practice outdoors during the course of the year. Teams will NOT have to pay extra to use indoor facility. All teams will have scheduled indoor slots and players may use facility at any time to work on their skills. Looking for well rounded ball players and PO's. Every player will get taught by coaches that know the game in all aspects. There will be no dad coaches on teams in ages 13U and above. 8U-12U will be managed by a paid coach with a few dads assisting. We will start our tryouts after 2014 Spring/ Summer season is over.
