Will this impact baseball season for all county parks? Looks like about every county park is getting a much much needed make over.


This was taken from East Marietta LL website.

We have some exciting news – SPLOST dollars have come through for the park and the County is going to provide us with some much-needed renovations.

These renovations will include:
•New concession stand and bathrooms between fields 1 and 2
•Lazer grading of all fields
•New fencing
•Parking
•Renovations to field 4

As you can imagine it will take some time to complete all this work; luckily we are going to have use of another park so we will have a temporary home for our 2014 Spring season.

We will be playing at Larry Bell Park this spring, which is less than four miles from Sewell Park. The address is 592 S Fairground St SE, Marietta, GA 30060; it is next to the Cobb Civic Center.

We will be having an event at Larry Bell to introduce you to the park and celebrate our good fortune and our East Marietta family. Please stay tuned for an invite!
